Day 1

Your first day begins in downtown Passignano sul Trasimeno, passing the Castello (the Castle) where you can admire both the Lake and the medieval town. Heading towards Magione you ascend the hills and reach the Tower on top of Monte Ruffiano and enjoy the view of the islands called Isola Minore e Isola Maggiore. The trail takes you through olive trees, woods and vineyards leading to San Savino which has a commanding position overlooking La Valle natural oasis.
