Day 3

Leaving downtown Panicale you ascend through olive trees and an oak and chestnut wood that takes you to the village of Paciano. You then follow stony trails surrounded by nature to Città della Pieve – the homeland of the well-known painter called Perugino, master of Raffaello and saffron lovers’ dream.
