Day 5

Following countryside roads and walking through small villages we leave Villastrada heading towards the Trasimeno Lake. Your final destination is the town of Castiglione del Lago which once was the fourth island of the Trasimeno Lake and today is a promontory jutting out into the lake.
Along the way, you find a mountain bike trail called ‘il giro dei tre laghi’ which means the 3-lake trail since it goes from Trasimeno Lake to Chiusi Lake and the Montepulciano one.
