Day 7

On your last day of this trail, you leave the peaceful Isola Maggiore on the ferry boat to Tuoro, where the well-known Battle of Trasimeno Lake was fought. In downtown Tuoro take your time to visit the Hannibal Museum. Heading towards Sanguineto, you follow the panoramic way and walk on the ridge between Umbria and Tuscany while admiring breathtaking views of the Trasimeno Lake. Then, through woods and olive trees you complete your circuit in Passignano.
Along this trail you discover the interesting Hannibal route: a 7-stop walking or cycling route approximately 4.47-mile long.
