From downtown Città della Pieve – the town that gave birth to Perugino – walk in the direction of Tre Molini, passing through via Camparche. Ascend the woods reaching the panoramic point of Monte Pausillo, then descend and ascend again to get to Paciano. Keep walking on the ridge that touches Mount Petrarvella, passing by the Capuchin Convent to get to Panicale. Along the way, enjoy the wide panoramic views and openings on Lake Trasimeno and the river Nestore valley with glimpses in the background up to the area of Perugia and Assisi and the chain of the Apennines.
