From the characteristic cylindrical tower that distinguishes Castiglion Fosco, start in the direction of Collebaldo between woods and cultivated and uncultivated fields reaching a paved road that leads to Greppolischieto – a village overlooking the valley. Continuing on the hill until you reach the highest point of the entire route: Montarale at 853 m.. Here, have a rest to admire the Trasimeno Lake area, the territory of Perugia and Assisi and Tuscany. Then descend a steep road to Ponnibiale and follow the asphalted stretch to descend to the bottom of the valley and go up to Piegaro, your final destination.
