The route starts from Fontignano towards the cultivated fields in the Pietrafitta area. Keep walking along the shore of the lake of Pietrafitta fed by the waters of the Nestòre. Then climb up and down through fields and woods until you cross the villages of Gaiche and Cibottola and arrive at Castiglion Fosco.
