L’asilo infantile e la prima torre angolare

At the beginning of the 20th century, the confraternity Maria Santissima dei Miracoli sold two farms to finance with their proceeds this beautiful building surrounded by a centuries-old garden.The institute was entrusted to the Sisters of Maria Bambina of Bergamo, who took care of children aged 3 to 6 years and organized an embroidery school for the young unmarried, who thus learned a trade. In fact, the embroidery and lace in the Trasimeno area were and still are famous!

To the right above the embankment, leaning against the newly restored building, is the first of the four corner towers of the castle.
