Panoramic cycling route to Sant'Arcangelo sul Trasimeno

Road surface: asphalt 5.75 km (47.9%); dirt road 6.25 km (52.1%). Hybrid bike or mountain bike are recommended.

From Muffa continuing towards the hamlet of Macchie – in the municipality of Castiglione del Lago – you arrive at the Trasimeno Cycling Route in the village of Sant’Arcangelo – a coastal hamlet of the Municipality of Magione – crossing the hills that line the lake in the territory of Panicale.

We suggest stops in the cellars and farms near the route. Nearby an interesting site is the abbey of Sant’Arcangelo. Continuing on the cycle route, along the way you will come across the naturalistic oasis La Valle and the Fishing Museum in the village of San Feliciano, from whose pier you embark for Isola Polvese.
