From Madonna di Canale to Poggio al Piano

Walking time: 3 hrs

From the Church Madonna di Canale, follow the dirt road going uphill in the direction of S.Biagio. Walk across fields, a ditch and a beautiful wooded path. Once past the parish church, on fine days you may admire a view of Lake Trasimeno and the North North East side of the territory.

Descend towards the three mills next to the pastures to go up to Poggio al Piano where the circular trail ends.

Along the hiking path in the wild pasture – Chianina cows and horses are to be admired.
