On 21 June 217 BC, in the hilly area around Trasimeno, took place the defeat of the Roman army by the Carthaginian army of Hannibal.

The historical-archaeological route of the Trasimeno Battle, winds through the countryside of Tuoro and is made up of 13 themed stations (including the Hannibal Museum), in which historical-military, geographical and anthropological aspects are explored. In the rest areas illustrated reconstructions of the most significant episodes of the battle are presented, with texts in Italian and English, accompanied by additional content via QR code and NFC languages.

The museum itinerary, located in the historical center of Tuoro, allows you to immerse yourself in the reality of the time, thanks to explanatory panels, touch-screen devices and multimedia supports.
