Located a few hundred meters from the Castle of Zocco, this small church was probably built at the end of the Middle Ages as a votive chapel; passing through here, pilgrims and wayfarers could look in from the side window, pray to the Madonna and resume their journey.
The main facade faces Lake Trasimeno, has a brick rose window and two pilgrim windows on the sides. On the back wall, the small bell gable stands out. Inside, a frescoed niche houses the image of the Madonna enthroned with the Child.
The church is only open on August 5th for the feast of Saint Mary of the Snow.
