Cini: a family wine

From grandfather to grandchildren, love for the land.

It was grandfather Bonaventura, in the 1950s, who took his first steps into the world of wine. Thanks to the values inherited from him, Clelia and Riccardo now manage their business by skilfully mixing experience gained at home and knowledge acquired at the University, respectively in Agricultural and Environmental Sciences and in Viticulture and Oenology.
Attentive to tradition, but ready to experiment with new ideas, in addition to wine they also produce oil, grape juice, jelly and other delicacies.

You can choose between:
1) Basic tasting: 4 wines paired with local cheese with grape jelly, salami, bread and oil.
2) Lunch-tasting: 4 wines paired with local products: cheese with grape jelly, cured meats, ancient grain pasta, legume bis (Trasimeno bean and chickpeas), bread and oil.

Chocolate Experience: tasting and visit

Ellegi is synonymous with craftsmanship since 1982. Special products that stand out for the high quality of raw materials, for the processing still carried out by hand in some steps and for the link with the Umbrian territory and the tradition of chocolate.

The pralines… A dark chocolate shell that contains a soft filling with an intense flavor.
The dragées… A classic of the European tradition: a greedy heart with the most varied ingredients covered with dark, milk and white chocolate.
The spreadable creams, soft and with an intense taste, suitable for palates of all ages.
…and then bars, sticks, ingots, liqueurs, cut chocolate… All this and much more, to be tasted immediately at the Ellegi Laboratory!

You can choose between:
– Visit and tasting of chocolate with olive oil and honey
– Visit and tasting of chocolate with wine and liqueurs

Morami Wine, passion since 1600

Stroll through the vineyards and 17th-century farmhouses while Sabrina tells you her story and guides you through the scents of her wines.

Precious wines that look to tradition and new trends, gifts of the land to which the Morami family is inextricably linked. Each bottle is the result of years of experience and love, to offer you the best tasting experience.

The experience includes:

  • tasting of 5 of the 9 wines produced, both white and red, in the tasting room of the old farmhouse
  • a pleasant conversation with Sabrina on the history of the Morami family, on the birth of the wine project, on the production methods, but above all on the sensations and emotions that wine can give.

AperiFishing! Aperitif on the boat based on fish and white wine

Throughout the summer, in the picturesque setting of the Trasimeno at sunset, the fishing trip turns into a tasty aperitif based on lake fish, accompanied by excellent local white wine.

Come and live a fantastic experience in contact with nature on board the typical fishing boats, accompanied by professional fishermen!

La cerreta farm: food tasting, guided tour, art and more

The farm offers many activities to suit all guest – young and old.

The guided tour of the farm will let everyone discover the beauty of the countryside including the visit to the stable of over 340 cows, the explanation of how to tend the fields and the visit to the contemporary art park.

The ones interested in food and wine tourism will be offered a tasting of local produces including extra virgin olive oil produced in-house from over 4,000 plants.

As Educational farm, you will enjoy a unique experience unveiling farm secrets.

Book your cooking class in advance, every day starting at 11:00 am and followed by a rich lunch with your creations.

Chef Vito Quarto will make you the stars of an unforgettable experience to do as a couple, family, or group.

The cooking courses are aimed both at those who wish to broaden their knowledge of local culinary traditions and those who want to have fun with their hands in pasta.

From wheat grain to noodles and ‘torta al testo’

Workshop on ancient grains with tasting

Isabella will teach you how to grind the wheat, sift the flour, knead and make – according to ancient recipes – ‘torta al testo’ (a special bread to be stuffed with local charcuterie) and fresh pasta of various formats.
At the end, we will taste the ‘torta al testo’ made with our own hands and take home the pasta to remind us of the good times spent with Isa.

Visit to the farm Terre di Corciano

Guided tour to discover edible wild herbs, ancient grains and saffron

Walk in the edible lawn that surrounds the Ancient Grains field, the Zafferaneto (saffron field) and the Oliveto (olive orchard) discovering names, aromas, flavors, beneficial properties of wild herbs and their use in the kitchen.

You will also collect your own herbarium for you to bring back home. Also getting to know Saffron and its magical world.

Children in the orchard

The children will create an orchard in a box to bring back home and take care of and then eat the good fruits that will be grown.

Saffron harvesting
